AMITABH BACHCHAN IN MADAME TUSSANDS AT U.K.
Bollywood Super Star Amitabh Bachchan is to be GUEST OF HONOUR AT A GALA event to help promote Indian Cinema in the UK. The actor will launch 23 1/2 days of Bollywood, which starts on 2nd May at Selfridges stores in LONDON and MANCHESTER. Several film sets will be erected at the department stores by Nitin Desai, set designer for Indian movies including Salaam Bombay and the Oscar Nominated Lagaan.
BIG B is one of the BIGGEST STARS IN INDIAN CINEMA, HAVING APPEARED IN MORE THAN 100 ( ONE HUNDRED ) MOVIES OVER THE LAST THREE DECADES.

Special Guest, Best TV Actor Moses Chan, dressed in an enthralling red- carpet-style black suit, joined Kelly Mak and a group of professional Bollywood dancers to unveil "AMITABH BACHCHAN WAX FIGURE". The ceremany kicked off with a Dynamic Bollywood dance performance, reminiscent of the Bollywood movie glamour. The dancers then led Moses Chan and Kelly Mak out to strike an Indian pose with "SHOWBIZ HEAVYWEIGHT SRI AMITABH BACHCHAN".
The Amitabh Bachchan wax figure is dressed in an Indian style BLACK SUIT and WHITE TROUSERS, as seen in the opening of Salondu Cinema at Grande Halle de la villette in Paris in the year 2009. Sri Amitabh Bachchan wax figure displayed against an exquisite Indian facade adorned with light bulbs. Guests will enjoy a theater-style lighting show inspired by AMITABH BACHCHAN movie "ALADIN" when they get closer to the iconic movie star and meet him "IN PERSON". The wax figure will be permanently displayed in the "WORLD PREMIERE ZONE AT MADAME TUSSAUDS" at Hong Kong.
